Delta Zetas live the values of their creed to "give graciously" and by contributing both time and fundraising efforts to many national and local philanthropies. In 2015 alone, members have donated over $10,000 to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, which benefits efforts to raise awareness and cancer research, and they participated in UCF's Knight-thon Dance Marathon, raising over $16,000 for The Children's Miracle Network. In Fall 2014, Delta Zeta hosted and organized UCF's second annual Mocktoberfest event in conjunction with National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week (NCAAW) and DZ's "i Have A Choice" week. The event raised over $4,000 for Mothers Against Drunk Driving. We look forward to hosting our inaugural Hike for Hearing this September to benefit the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
